In 2021, Heavy Foundations were engaged by W Residential to carry out a decent shoring and foundations package with limited access at 15a Tudibaring Parade, MacMasters Beach. 

Our scope included:

 - contiguos cfa bored pile shoring;

 - capping beams;

 - shotcrete; and

 - foundation bored piles.

With the site being on high ground near the beach, the foundation piles were slightly over 9m deep to account for the zone of reduced foundation capacity. In a large storm, the design at our part of the project allows sand to be eroded from near the house with the piles embedded deep enough to transfer loads to a layer of stable material - minimising potential landslides and avoiding building failure.
