The site

A beachfront residence required deep foundation piles and careful sequencing around temporary basement propping.

Our approach

Coordinated a package including CFA and screw piling, capping beams, temporary propping, bulk excavation and shotcrete. A hired rig provided the depth required for the foundation piles.

Screw piles & certification

Our largest published installation to date used a 900 mm helix to 29 m depth. Auger and screw drives range from 1,750–91,200 Nm. The design, geotechnical information and certification requirements need to be considered together.
